The dates will be 12th – 19th September 2025. Coming from their mini tour with Caustic Wound, Reverence to Paroxysm and Castleumbra will continue for another week while in Europe!

Between conversations, ideas, and sharing music, Oscar Clorio (Cenotaph, Denial, ex-Shub Niggurath), César Sánchez (Hacavitz, Xiat, Profanator), and Antimo Buonanno (Hacavitz, Profanator, Castleumbra) came together to create an entity of dark Death Metal called Reverence To Paroxysm. This abomination took shape between 2018 and 2020, when they conspired with Alan Di González (Malcría, ex-Sacrificio, Nocturno, Hacavitz) to complete this dark amendment of death and began writing material for a demo track titled “Congruence of the Profound Forlorn”, intending to promote it online.
“Congruence of the Ends”, a split recording with their comrades Pestilength from Spain, was released by Parasitic Records in the USA, followed by the demo “Cadaveric Continuity of Unreal Perspectives”. This release compiled the two tracks along with a special five-song live performance, which marked Oscar Clorio’s departure from the band. Leonardo Cardoso (Fumata, ex-Weedsnake, Ojo por Ojo) took over drumming duties for live performances and the recording of the debut full-length album, “Lux Morte”, which was released by Vomit Records, MSUO Records, DDR Records, and ERP.

With them on tour, Reverence to Paroxysm will be bringing Castleumbra. The entity was born in 2008 as a side project from members of Profanator, Hacavitz, Demonized, Antimo Buonanno & Alejandro Franco, starting rehearsals that instantly turned into their first MCD “Cthulu Wgah’nagl Fntagn”.
After some years of hiatus, Antimo and Alejandro reunited again to start composing new material which led to the recording of their first album “Nammu Tammtu” that was released in 2023 via VOMIT Records (Mexico), Obliteration Records (Japan), and Battlesk’rs Productions (Europe/worldwide), with a vinyl LP version forthcoming from Extremely Rotten Productions and P2 Records.
A few months after the release, Alejandro left the project. In 2022, the band reformed as a live act with new members César Sánchez (Xiat, Hacavitz, Profanator, Skid Raid, Demonized…) and Enrique Ruiz (Fumes, ex-In Obscurity Revealed, Inanimatum). In 2024, Alfonso Aguayo (FOH for Cenotaph, ex-Rapture (mex)) joined, completing the current line-up.
