Apparition began crafting their exploratory blend of black doom and progressive death metal in 2018 in Reseda, California. Starting as a duo with Andrew Morgan on drums/vocals and Miles McIntosh on guitar, the line-up has since been filled out by Andrew Solis on guitar and Taylor Young on bass.
After releasing the Subarachnoid Space cassette with the help of Criminalized in December of 2019, Apparition manifested the Granular Transformation EP in 2020 and their debut full-length album Feel in 2021, both released on Profound Lore Records. The band is currently working on new material set to be recorded in early 2023.
