Since forming in 2016, Fargo, North Dakota-based death metal group PHOBOPHILIC have steadily honed their craft both in-studio and across the North American touring circuit – racking up two demos, an EP and debut album, “Enveloping Absurdity”, released in September via Prosthetic Records.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut full-length, PHOBOPHILIC have positioned themselves as one of US death metal’s leading lights, with deftly woven together themes of philosophical absurdism, existentialism and human consciousness.
The band – composed of Aaron Dudgeon (guitars and vocals), Josh Poer (guitars), Christian Alm (bass) and Vincent Tweten (drums) – are set to tour North America again this spring following an appearance at Decibel Magazine’s Metal & Beer Fest.
