Ghastly is a Finnish death metal band formed in 2011. Ghastly began as a solo project of main man Ian J. D’Waters, but has since then become more of a band with the addition of live members. Their trademarks are harsh riffs combined with atmospheric melodies and surreal lyrics.
They draw inspiration from sources such as psychedelic rock and horror movies. Ghastly’s discography so far consists of a demo tape, a 7” single and three full-length albums. Ghastly has a strong visual side represented by our resident cover artist Riikka Pesonen.
