EXECRATION (no) + GHASTLY (fin) “Mercurial Dimensions” European tour 19th – 27th May 2023!
We are teaming up two of the greatest experimental Scandinavian death metal bands for a 9-date European tour in May 2023! Based around Kill-Town Death Fest “Decay in May” in Aarhus and Copenhagen, Execration and Ghastly will head out for a short run of Central European dates. This tour is the first-ever tour for Ghastly and will be the first since 2018 for Execration, so a rare opportunity to see these amazing bands live!
During the pandemic, Execration dug into the vault and released an unreleased song, “Imminent Doom”. The song represents the transition between the more traditional approach to death metal of Syndicate of Lethargy to what ended up becoming Odes Of The Occult.
Speaking of the origins of Execration, long-time collaborator Duplicate Records are releasing the first EP, Language Of The Dead, and the first LP, Syndicate of Lethargy on vinyl for the first time ever!
For the future, Execration are preparing to conjure at least one more offering before surrendering to the void forever.
Ghastly are currently working on material for a new album that will be recorded during 2023.
